PROJECT OLYMPIADS IN ICHC |
| We encourage and support our students to participate a project olympiads in order to gain international competition experience, and get good results in which they can use for applications of quality universities. In addition to have an experience of international competitions, project preparations teach students how to use their knowledge and finish a complete project in a specific period of time by sacrificing their free time and even holidays. Another advantage of project preparations is to visit different countries after qualification of the project and develop valuable friendships.
At the beginning of every year, project preparation groups are set to start a long process of project development. Teachers select enthusiastic students who are eager to work on projects in the period of holidays after schools, weekends.

The effect of computer assisted instruction (CAI) on students’ achievement in science experiments is proved to be a positive enhancement in learning. When CAI is combined with practical experiments it results in better achievements. But the cost of computer based devices is a real barrier for most of the schools especially in rural areas.
The purpose of this project is to provide a cost-effective multifunctional timing device to be used in physics experiments for schools that cannot afford the commercial alternatives of data loggers.

Our website is about health and nutrition. It contains information on nutrition facts, and also advices about what our meals should be composed of and what we should eat so that we will be as healthy as possible.
Many common health problems can be prevented or alleviated with a healthful diet. So, by helping the visitor understand this, and by offering him essential information about nutrition, he will practically have a better life from that moment on.

Our project is about the cell (pl. cells), also known as “the building blocks of all living things”. The project have been created in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Flash (CS2), and rendered out in .swf format.
This project it’s an interactive lesson for high school, gymnasium and even primary school students, so that this chapter of biology will be more fun and fast to learn. |

Our projects goal is to teach 9th grader students some physics lessons like waves and a branch of optics, refraction. We succeeded this aim by making an educational Flash program to make the lessons different, easier to understand and to remember because we used by the help of animations, sounds and attractive pictures. By this way learning becomes more interesting and attractive. Learning by playing and having fun is the most efficient, even little children learn a lot of things by playing, watching animated cartoons and listening to funny sounds. So our project helps students learn in an interactive, entertaining, but also educational way. |

The purpose of this project is to make the people discover and understand Yunus Emre and his way of thinking. We think that by getting to know each other, different cultures can interact and make a better world. We use Yunus’ poems to make the point that mankind should live in harmony no matter their country, race or religion, by showing him as an example. We are trying to solve the problems which arise between religions and countries, wars and hate between humans. These problems have existed for ages and wars and hate are slowly destroying mankind. |

This report presents an overview of speech recognition technology, software, development and applications. It begins with a description of how such systems work, and the level of accuracy that can be expected. Applications of speech recognition technology in education and beyond are then explored. A brief comparison of the most common systems is presented, as well as notes on the main centers of speech recognition research. The report concludes with potential uses of speech recognition in education, probable main uses of the technology in the future, and a selection of key web-based resources.
The aim of our project is to demonstrate the use of speech recognition technology with the involvement of simultaneous translation of 2 persons speaking different languages. We claim that by means of this speech recognizing simultaneous translation engine, knowledge will be globalized and access to information will be easier, thus barriers between different cultures will be removed. |

The aim of the project is to develop a video player which will have extra features that will help for educational purpose usages and family usage. Our video player called RHC video player, developed by using Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2005 and DirectShow technologies. We aim to add functionalities like scene skipping and discussion levels as well as standard features available like shortcut keys, subtitle support, fullscreen etc. By means of scene skipping feature, we aimed to make a safe movie watch for children and family movies and educational movie watches as well. |
